Gorgitenders Bartending Academy is a Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) accredited bartending academy and staffing agency specializing in training and preparing students to be professional bartenders for the hospitality industry and connecting them with local businesses. All graduate students of Gorgitenders Bartending Academy receive their professional bartending and T.I.P.S (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification upon successful completion of our program. Students in our program become a professional bartender, skilled at free pouring, professionalism behind the bar, speed efficiency, cocktail knowledge and preparation. We teach over 200 cocktail recipes, the history of spirits, bar operations, customer service, glassware, and garnish preparation. GBA students receive job placement assistance, and lifetime career services. GBA ensures students have the knowledge and skill set to serve a variety of alcoholic beverages responsibly.
